Abstract:
This brief summarizes model educational programs for adults that integrate basic skills education with job training and career development skills. Models discussed include the I-BEST co-teaching approach, an alternating teachers approach, vocation-specific VESL/VABE classes, and cluster VESL/VABE classes.
