“A big part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worry about the what ifs of life.” Suze Orman
No one disputes the importance of learning financial literacy in educational settings, especially in Adult Education. To date, a limited number of curricular resources are available as each educator struggles to create, beg, or borrow lessons. Fortunately, the Florida Literacy Coalition and World Education’s CrowdEd Learning Initiative developed a “curated set of resources and activities as part of the Let’s Build a FinLit Resource Bank EdTech Maker Space.” This cost-free Financial Literacy Resource bank is available to anyone who would like to sign up on wakelet.
Available are many curated resources with familiar topics like: Personal Banking, Saving Money, Dealing with Debt and Credit Basics to name a few.
