On Tuesday at 3:00pm, Carolyn Zachry and Cory Rayala from the CDE Adult Education Office will present Introduction and Overview of the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP). This workshop will introduce WIOA-funded agencies to the new CIP tool being developed to assist agencies with program monitoring and improvement. This webinar will allow all who attend a "sneak peek" just before its release along with information about the tool. On Wednesday at 2:00pm, Melinda Holt will present Google Account Management and Safety – Part 2. Series topics will be modeled and discussed and more may be covered as time allows: the difference between and creating Google accounts - 100% Google vs. hybrid version; multiple accounts - advantages to using more than one account, separating your "selves," permissions between accounts, transferring files or ownership; browser account vs. cloud account (i.e., Chrome vs Drive or Gmail); and methods of signing in - via Google tools or EDU, switching between Club and Pub, etc. You can sign up for this webinar at the California Adult Education Training Calendar.

On Friday at 2:00pm, Penny Pearson will present OERs for Adult Education – Part 2. There are many free, customizable, and editable Open Educational Resources (OER) for adult educators and their learners. In Part 2, the focus will be on using OERs and giving proper attribution to the various works teachers may use after finding. Licensing both teacher and student works under an appropriate Creative Commons license will also be discussed and shown.
