ProLiteracy's National Book Fund

The National Book Fund, established by ProLiteracy in 1995, began providing local literacy programs with New Readers Press books and other educational materials to help teach adults and teens to read. Since then, ProLiteracy "has granted over 3.5 million in educational materials to local literacy programs, freeing up funds for other program needs." As of February 1st, ProLiteracy is accepting grant applications for the National Book Fund due March 15, 2023.

  1. National Book Fund: The National Book Fund provides grants from $500-$2,000 in the form of New Readers Press materials. Application deadline: March 15, 2023.

Another opportunity via ProLiteracy for adult programs is the Mobile Learning Fund.

  1. Mobile Learning Fund:  Grants in the form of licenses or subscriptions for digital instructional products available from New Readers Press, ProLiteracy's publishing division. Applications are welcomed at any time. Notification of acceptance or rejection within one month. No application deadline.
