OERs: Using CC Licenses and CC Licensed works

Equity and Inclusion

In this session, we will take a deeper dive into Creative Commons licenses and the 5 R's that make up OERs (Retain, Reuse, Revise, Remix and Redistribute.)

Participants will learn the basics of creating OERs, be shown tools that help create and revise learning materials, and how to correctly attribute and license their own works as OER using free software that will assist in retaining and protecting intellectual rights. All participants will learn insights and knowledge in identifying true OERs as well as searching for resources in several vetted OER Repositories.
