In this session, participants will get a closer look at how OERs are different from free resources available on the Internet. Topics will include Creative Commons licenses, Public Domain, and Copyright. Participants will be shown tips on what to look for and how to familiarize themselves with identifying OERs to assist in avoiding copyright infringement. A best practices toolkit will also be provided.
