Advanced ESL on Canvas

LMS: Canvas, Google Classroom, and Moodle

Advanced ESL is an OTAN-shared online course that was originally developed using Moodle LMS for Intermediate High/Advanced Level ESL students.

With the move to the use of CANVAS LMS across the state, this course has been updated and redesigned as a CANVAS course. The 18-unit course is topic based and covers the following language proficiency skills: listening, reading, writing, vocabulary development, and grammar.

This session is meant to orient teachers and/or administrators to the course and how it could be incorporated into their ESL curriculum. This course will be made available by OTAN at no cost to California adult education agencies.
