TDLS 2023 - An Orientation that Sticks

TDLS

Student orientation is often the first real interaction a student has with a school. Just like in sales, the first interaction is key, so we have created a simple process to encourage more interaction between the student and the school. To streamline the orientation process, we have integrated several different technologies: Nearpod, Canva, Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate, in place to shore up areas that required a lot of one-on-one work. Through these different procedures, we have accumulated more student outcomes, which we will reviewed in the presentation. Finally, we will share how we plan to continue refining this system to better engage with our students.
