TDLS 2023 - ALVN: Connecting research with practice

TDLS

Good technology integration begins with knowing your learner, research, and understanding how to put the two together. The Adult Learner Variability Navigator (ALVN) is a part of the Digital Promise project. This project integrates research, adult learner factors, and practices across learning contexts. In this session, the presenters will demonstrate how to A: find and access ALVN B: use ALVN to find learner factors C: investigate Learner Strategies based on solid research D: determine how to use this tool with your learners/faculty. E: explore ALVN and identify tools that meet your learners’ needs Attendees will be grouped to explore a tool, create a spreadsheet based on identified learner factors and on the research in ALVN and share their findings.
