TDLS 2024 - Co-Designing Community Digital Navigation Services to Close Digital Divides

TDLS

As a national promoter of digital inclusion strategies to close digital divides, World Education, in partnership with AT&T, has recently led the implementation of digital navigation services at five diverse community-based organizations throughout the United States. During this session, we will discuss the project rollout, outline challenges, successes, and lessons learned from working with a variety of stakeholders, and share our infrastructure and reusable resources for effective integration of digital navigation services. Efforts included providing individuals with access to devices, the internet, and digital skills training. The project's main purpose is to co-design digital navigation services to integrate local community needs and an approachable sustainability plan into the program design. Participants will leave this session with an understanding of digital navigation, strategies for effective co-design and communication, and advice for designing services in your community.
