Using Zoom as a Distance Learning Tool in Adult Education

This session will guide instructors in how to use Zoom meetings for remote or distance learning This session will cover basic features of Zoom meeting like file sharing, screen share, polling, and screen annotation to provide an authentic interactive review session with students. Examples of how Zoom is used in ESL will be shown, along with a sample Zoom class video, to see how Soledad Adult School uses Zoom mainly for English as a Second Language and High School Equivalency. Zoom can be implemented in all adult education programs that don't require a hands on training component. Security features will be discussed, as well, to keep your meetings secure.
