We have had some questions about how to earn a teaching credential to work for an adult education program. The best place to start is the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Go to the CTC Teaching Credentials Requirements webpage External Link Icon opens in new window or tab and scroll down to Designated Subjects Teaching Credentials for information on adult ed credentials. There are many agencies in California that offer credential programs, including online programs in response to COVID-19. The best place to look for adult ed jobs is EdJoin External Link Icon opens in new window or tab and you can also contact adult ed agencies directly for more information about job opportunities.
