Abstract:
This article describes how the inmate education program at one of the Los Angeles County Jail's is meeting the needs of the Hispanic inmate population for English as a Second Language (ESL) services. The program is run for the Sheriff's Department at Peter J. Pitchess Honor Rancho in Saugus by Hacienda La Puente Unified School District.
