This document summarizes a study on the education of adult migrant farmworkers conducted by Slaughter & Associates for the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Vocational and Adult Education. Steps for developing adult migrant programs featured are planning, supporting ongoing learning, extending learning beyond the traditional classroom, linking curriculum to farmworker experience and concerns, collaboration, and financial support.
