Abstract:
This paper on Mexico-U.S. immigration trends was presented at the Border States Conference in San Diego on December 10, 1991. Five key points are made with implications: migrant destinations, increasing size of flow, shuttle migrant phenomena, results of skills gap, and demographic composition.
