Abstract:
The report examines projects funded during the National Workplace Literacy Program's first year of operation, including a review of the research literature, analyses of data from 29 or the 37 projects, and site visits to six projects. The information identifies key components associated with effective workplace literacy projects and recommends ways to improve program effectiveness.
