Abstract:
This report is an outcome of a [job and college] Readiness Roundtable sponsored by the Council for Advancement of Adult Literacy (CAAL) and the National Center on Education and the Economy (NCEE). The report presents a synthesis of the current state of exemplary 'work readiness' services and programs, and highlights how these programs are essentially and critically different from other types of more traditional adult education.
