Activity Description

This activity uses chatGPT for interviewing questions. There is a PPT for organization.

Preparation

  1. Check the website to ensure it is not blocked at your site.
  2. Read through the lesson plan.

How-To

Tell students you will use AI,Artificial Intelligence,to help with their interview. 

Example: Give me some practice questions for an interview.

Teacher Tips

Many students may not want to use the computer. I have used this lesson plan as an example of using AI. This is modeled as a group activity, input from students.

More Ways

You may group students in job related groups, volunteer, sales or warehouse, for example.

Students may come up with their own questions.

In this example, I have provided a general question.

Opening question:

Has anyone had a job interview? How was it? We are going to go over a few questions today. The more you practice the better you will feel. Let's get started.

-Ask, I have students who are interviewing for a job. Give me some questions for my students to practice.

Questions that came up, that I will use for this lesson plan are:

1. What skills do you have for this job?

2. How do you manage your time?

3. How do you stay organized?

The last 2 questions are followed by the PPT. Get Organized.

After the PPT is presented, a discussion of how a person can be organized.

The instructor can use a whiteboard and list all the different ways students get organized.

This would be in the summary of the PPT.

The evaluation of this lesson plan would be if they list any organizational steps from the PPT. Students could also give other ways to help organize their day to day activites. All students have different ways of learning styles. We all must be mindful of our uniqueness.
