This Upcoming Week’s Professional Development

Monday, March 25, 1-2:30 pm | Sharing Content in Canvas with OTAN SME Dana Thompson | Participants will focus on the different ways instructors can share Canvas content and/or courses within a Canvas instance, as well as exploring Canvas Commons and methods for exporting content for use across different Canvas instances.

Tuesday, March 26, 10-11:30 am | Creating YouTube Shorts for Adult Education with OTAN SME Chris Vela Che | The focus of this webinar will be creating videos for your adult English Language Learners. Attend this session and get inspired to create less-than-a-minute videos on YouTube. Example of YouTube Shorts created for a beginning low English class will be shown and links will be provided.

Thursday, March 28, 12-1:00 pm | Canvas Q & A for Administrators and Teachers | Bring any questions about Canvas to our Instructure guest expert to be answered during this session.

Tuesday, April 2, 10-11:00 am | Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) Office Hours | An open hour Zoom room will be available for California Adult Education agencies that want specific guidance or feedback on their CIP goal(s) before submission.

Thursday, April 4, 12-1:00 pm | CA Rural Agencies - Make Your Technology Goals a Reality! | OTAN’s Rural Coaching Project provides free specialized coaching and extended technical support to adult education agencies in sparsely populated areas of California.
