Call for Presenters

We invite you to submit a presentation proposal for OTAN’s annual conference. Share your expertise, best practices, and engaging strategies, or facilitate discussions within one of our Category Strands. TDLS is all about collaboration and capacity building within the adult education community. The deadline for TDLS Call for Presenters is Monday, December 7, 2026.

⚡ New Category: "Lightning Lesson" (30 Minutes)

New to this year's lineup, the Lightning Lesson offers a fast-paced, 30-minute focused showcase. Designed for quick, high-impact learning, these shorter sessions highlight a single digital tool, accessibility feature, app, or emerging technology like AI. It provides an ideal format for delivering practical adult education workflows and key takeaways without needing to build out a full 70-minute presentation.

Top Proposal Features & Guidelines

⏱️ New 70-Minute Standard Duration: Standard presentation sessions (Interactive Presentations, Hands-on Workshops, Model Classrooms, and Panel Presentations) will run for 70 minutes.

💻 Hybrid-First Format: Most sessions will accommodate both in-person and virtual attendees. Dedicated Room Monitors will be provided to help presenters manage dual audiences.

🎤 Accessibility Requirements: To maintain audio clarity and accessibility for remote and in-person participants, all in-person presenters are required to use microphones during their sessions.

🎥 Recorded Sessions: Accepted presentations will be recorded and shared with attendees following the event.
