Upcoming OTAN Activities to Support Adult Educators – Week of 12/13

OTAN Office Hours provide an opportunity to ask more detailed questions and get support on specific tools to use with students. You can sign up for these OTAN Office Hours at the California Adult Education Training Calendar:

On Monday at 3:00pm, Penny Pearson will present Understanding How to Design Using a Canvas Custom Template. This workshop will introduce the Canvas Custom Template available to instructors in the California Distance Learning Cooperative (CDLC), how to personalize the template, and create content, assignments, quizzes using Canvas tools. On Thursday at 3:00pm, Penny Pearson will present Organize Collaborative Learning, Performance-based Teaching, and Student Engagement in Canvas. This training primarily for CDLC instructors will focus on designing your Canvas courses to take advantage of tools that will streamline your workflow, allow you to spend more time teaching and engaging with your students, as well as foster connections with students and their families.
