OTAN Upcoming Activities – Week of 3/28

OTAN provides activities and resources to support our adult education colleagues. (All times below are PST.)

On Friday, April 1 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, OTAN will host CIP Open Office Hours. CIP Open Office Meetings will be available online for California Adult Education agencies that want specific guidance or feedback on their 2022-23 agency CIP goal prior to submission. You can sign up for these Open Office Hours at the California Adult Education Training Calendar.
On Friday, April 8 at 1:00pm, Yescenia Delgado will present the April OTAN Tech Talk, Student Voice and Empowerment Through Technology. This month's OTAN Tech Talk will discuss approaches to encourage student voice and strengthen student commitment to their learning. The aim of the presentation is to discuss research-based strategies that explore digital preferences when learning in adult education settings, with a review of innovative practices in technology rich environments. The nomination period for the 2022 Adult Education Students Succeed Program is open until April 15! OTAN invites nominations of adult education learners who are successful as a result of the education received at California adult education agencies.
